Domestications

Does anyone remember what a traditional mop or broom are like? I can say I barely do since I've been Swifferized for the last year and a half...

Also, I've been living in Mpls for over 6 months now, and I cannot for the life of me figure out the garbageman's schedule (forgive my use of the politically incorrect term; I should say "waste manager" or whatever). I only have to take my garbage to the dumpster out back, so I haven't ever really paid any attention to the matter, but I realized the other day that he seems to make several trips a week down our alley, and it all appears very random. Huh.
