Flooding Update

Having accomplished a great deal today, complete with three moral victories (and one bill failure which actually is a victory), I decided to treat myself to a walk downtown before continuing with the last of my work. Here's what I went to see:

Raspberry Island at 6:45 tonight

Harriet Island, definitely flooded

You can't even see the cheese grater ramps now...one of them is almost visible in person, but hey! At least the log jam on the tip of the island is almost gone

The little park across the river is under water, too

And now I get to go home! And it's only 8:15p. Life is good. (But it will be better once I get to go out on the water and row! Uh, yeah. It might be a li'l while yet.)
