I know it sounds funny...

...but my boat club is in danger of flooding this weekend. (Really, you say? Don't boats float? Why yes, they do float, but we rowers prefer to be IN them at the time they're wandering around on a river, and also that they not be floating around during a flood. It's not like they're the Ark or something.) And since I'm too busy at work to ever leave, my great friend J has offered to help make certain my boat and oars don't float down the Mississippi River without me any time soon. Thank you!
