butter pecan ice cream

I have often stated my general dislike for ice cream made with nuts. Adding the nuts yourself is fine; I just don't like the ice cream manufacturers to make that particular decision for me. That said, however, I really like the idea of butter pecan ice cream. It tastes nice. As the name implies, though, there are nuts already in there. So, is it weird of me to wish that ice cream makers would just make butter flavor ice cream? Probably.
